Joel Stanton returns with an energetic new single, 'Coyote & Me'. This marks his first release since 2022, a period accompanied by an expanding family and a relocation from bustling Los Angeles to the arid landscapes of Arizona. The single features familiar millennial new wave aesthetics and lush synthesizer soundscapes as Stanton escapes to the desert for some mind-altered reflection.

Hailing from the fertile grounds of Seattle's DIY rock scene, Stanton ventured out with a sound that balances dreamy vocals, drowsy synth layers, and driving rhythms. Beyond his individual musical endeavors, he actively contributes to the psych-pop duo Perfect Families.

In 2021, Stanton unveiled his debut album, 'In Harmony', drawing deep inspiration from his time residing in Los Angeles. This album harmoniously blends synthesizer melodies reminiscent of the 80s and 90s with intricate drum modules and samples, paying nostalgic homage to indie rock, lofi house, and synth pop. Since then, he's shared a few standalone singles and maintains a fruitful collaboration with his fellow Spatial Touch artist and brother, Goose Down.

'Coyote & Me' will be digitally released on September 1, 2023 by Spatial Touch.
